Image
A new dashboard, CSUMB Experience Survey 2025 Results , is now available to all users in Campus Data Warehouse production.   The CSUMB Experience Survey 2025 Results dashboard provides reporting on the Spring 2025 administration of the CSUMB Experience Survey, a homegrown survey administered every 3 years since 2009 covering various aspects of students' academic and nonacademic experiences. In Spring 2025, the survey was substantially revised, with campus partners, and administered to all student levels, expanding beyond the undergraduate degree-seekers in past administrations. The response rate for the Spring 2025 survey was 22.5%.  The new dashboard provides improved, flexible reporting with many more options to dig into the data with user friendly tools.  Access is available to all users in Campus Data Warehouse via:  Shared folders > Dashboards > Surveys > CSUMB Experience Survey.  The Overview page summarizes Most Satisfied (Top 10) and...

Resolved: Enrollment (Census) Terms Detail Trends Table Not Updating

Image
The Enrollment (Census) Terms Detail > Term Trends page was updated with a fix so that the metrics appropriately change in the pivot table when users change the metric selector on the dashboard.  GC0023143 - Enrollment (Census) Terms Detail Trends Table Not Updating -  The pivot table on the Enrollment (Census) Term Trends page is not updating appropriately when changing the metric from Headcount to various FTE metric options. The metric stays as Headcount even if FTE metric is selected. The graph visuals on the page are updating as appropriate. Note: appears to be a parameter problem (not passing to the table calculation).

Admissions (Pre-Census Snapshots) Daily Trends Difference Metric Issue

Image
The Campus Data Warehouse team is aware of a problem with the Difference Metric fields on the Admissions (Pre-Census Snapshots) Daily Trends dashboard page. The "Difference in Current Term Metric from Prior Term" and "Percent Difference in Current Term Metric from Prior term" fields are not updating as appropriate when the dashboard is filtered.  For example, filtering to First-Time Freshman (FTF) Admissions Cohort, the difference and percent difference metrics remain the same (not filtered). A fix has been developed and is in the process of being updated.

Resolved: "Gender (IPEDS)" Field Displays "Null" Values Across Several ERS Dashboards

Image
Gender (IPEDS) was updated in production across a number of Chancellor's Office Reports dashboards to account for changes needed in the logic to use codes rather than descriptions. Most dashboards where this was an impact are found in:  Shared folders / Dashboards / Chancellor's Office Reports / IPEDS.

Navigation and Help Dashboard S3 Dataset Redesign

The Navigation and Help dashboard has been retrofitted in production to use a different dataset (sourced from S3 in AWS rather than from a CSV file in production) that will enable us to more easily maintain the dashboard across accounts (e.g. stage and production) and will enable some additional end-user navigation features moving forward.  More up-to-date navigation and help content The Navigation and Help dashboard will be easier for the team to update, so users are less likely to see outdated links or guidance. Improved ways to find related dashboards Users will start seeing smarter navigation features, like “related dashboard links” on topical dashboards, making it easier to discover relevant content without hunting around. More consistent and reliable experience Because the data now comes from a centralized, easier-to-manage source, navigation links should be more stable and less prone to breaking or lagging behind changes elsewhere. No workflow disruption This ...
