Resolved: Navigation and Help Dashboard Broken Links

Update 2/27/2025: 

We have implemented a temporary solution in Campus Data Warehouse production to fix the broken links on the Navigation and Help dashboard.  We continue to work on a more robust solution for navigation across related dashboards. 



The Campus Data Warehouse team is aware of a problem with the Navigation and Help dashboard in production, where some dashboard links are breaking after workarounds for migration issues from STG environment to PRD. We are currently working on a solution.

Some links on the Navigation and Help dashboard have broken recently due to workarounds for migrating content from STG to PRD environments.

We need to investigate if it is possible to maintain this dataset in QuickSight using a CSV populated from our Google sheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1s_sc5o2ZtQjmGQpqipEH7I9ZfA168bwArrYor-U68hA/edit?usp=sharing) that can be regularly updated after each of the QuickSight migrations to update the navigation links as needed. 

This change will require a rebuild of tables in the Navigation and Help dashboard using a new CSV data source. First, we will need to test if row-level security implementation will work with the CSV dataset in QS. 

If this method works, we will also use the CSV dataset to populate "Related Dashboards" pages to help users with navigation in QuickSight.
