We are pleased to share that a new Request to Recruit dashboard is now available to users with Cost of Instruction dashboard access in Campus Data Warehouse production. The Request to Recruit dashboard consolidates key metrics on course and major enrollments into a single dashboard that may be used to provide data as part of the justification process for requesting to recruit new faculty.
The dashboard includes two dashboard pages:
Course FTE and Avg Class Size - provides 5-Academic Year (Spring and Fall term) trends for Student FTEs from course enrollments and Average Class Size from the Academic Planning Database (APDB) state-supported sessions census. It may be filtered by Academic Group, Academic Organization, and Subject Description.
Headcount and FTE in Major - provides 5-Academic Year (Spring and Fall term) trends for Headcount and State & Self-Support FTEs in Major from the Enrollment Reporting System enrollment census. It may be filtered by College Description, Major Long Description, and Concentration.
How to Access the "Request to Recruit" Dashboard
Note: You need to have elevated access to the Cost of Instruction dashboard (i.e. Academic Affairs leadership, College leadership, and Department Chairs) to access the Request to Recruit dashboard pages.
From the Navigation and Help dashboard on the "Role" > "Chairs" or "Role" > "Analysts" views of the table, you can find the "Request to Recruit" dashboard pages linked under the topic "Courses" if you have Cost of Instruction access.
From Shared folders, navigate to Dashboards > Cost of Instruction > Detail > Request to Recruit.
