Update: GE Class Area Not Working as Expected on Courses / Cost of Instruction Dashboards

Update 4/24/2025: "GE Class Area" is displaying as expected across all of the impacted course-related dashboards except for Cost of Instruction, which cannot yet be validated due to ongoing issues with the Cost of Instruction dashboard in production.

Example below of GE Class Area "A1" in Fall 2024 shows FYS 111 and HCOM 110 courses in alignment with the source.

Cost of Instruction could not yet be validated in PRD due to ongoing failures in the dataset refresh.

The Campus Data Warehouse team is aware of a problem with the GE Class Area filters and groupings across the Courses and Cost of Instruction dashboards in production where courses are appearing that are inappropriate for the GE Class Area group. We are currently working on a solution.
