Cal State Monterey Bay - Campus Data Warehouse Updates

The Campus Data Warehouse team is pleased to share that a new dashboard, Enrollment Planning > Admissions Funnel Projections, is available in production. Update 2/27/2025:  We have implemented a temporary solution in Campus Data Warehouse production to fix the broken links on the Navigation and Help dashboard.  We continue to work on a more robust solution for navigation across related dashboards. 

The Campus Data Warehouse team is aware of a problem in production where some metrics on the Grades dashboards are inflated slightly due to duplicate records in the dataset. We are currently working on a solution.  This issue is being worked on in ITSR# 24073974. 

Alert: Campus Data Warehouse daily data loads are currently failing.  This is because the Chancellor's Office removed the ISIR_COMPUTED table from the Data Lake as of Tuesday, 2/18/2025. This is breaking the load plan and causing load failures.  The Campus Data Warehouse team is currently working on a solution and will provide updates as they become available.

Update 2/18/2025:  The Term Dates Calendar dashboard in Campus Data Warehouse production has been updated and the previously missing date fields are now populating as expected. 

The Campus Data Warehouse team is aware of a problem with the Executive Overview dashboard in production where the KPIs are not updating automatically to reflect the rates for the most recent cohorts available. We are currently working on a solution. In the meantime, you may use the Executive Overview in our legacy data warehouse (Oracle). The Executive Overview remains unavailable in Campus Data Warehouse (QuickSight) as we work to implement solutions for inflated retention rates and rehoming returning students. The Campus Data Warehouse team is aware of a problem with the Course GPA Equity Gaps dashboard in production where the 'First Generation' equity gap analysis is displaying incorrect / zero '0' data for several of the metrics on the table visualization. We are currently evaluating a solution.  This issue is being worked on in ITSR# 24038277. The Campus Data Warehouse team is aware of a problem with the Degrees (Census) dashboards in production where the "Degree Description" filters are not displaying the correct values and not filtering Academic Plan filter controls as intended. We are currently evaluating the problem and working on a solution.  This issue is being worked on in ITSR# 24035896. Updated 2/12/2025:  The Class Schedule dashboard in Campus Data Warehouse production has been updated and now reflects the fix for the "% of Total Enrollment" column on the Multilevel Crosstab Table.  

Update  2/12/2025:  The Courses (Non-Census) Overview and Class Schedule dashboards in production now reflect the fix for "Non-Graduate Student Enrollment Units Total" and "Graduate Student Enrollment Units Total".

Update  2/7/2025 :  The Enrollment Fast Facts (Census) dashboard has migrated to Campus Data Warehouse production and includes a visualization fix for the Region table collapse issue. This migration also includes a fix for the sticky parameter issue we were experiencing with the subtitle block where the term and date parameters did not refresh when users reset the dashboard.

Update 2/7/2025: The Chancellor's Office Reports > IPEDS - Admissions dashboard was updated in production and is now filtered to exclude the Admission Statuses I, M, E.
