Alert: Changes to QuickSight User Interface as Amazon Quick Suite Launches
Update 10/9/2025:
The Campus Data Warehouse interface has been updated and transformed to Amazon Quick Suite.
When you log in, you'll notice that the look and feel is slightly different, though the navigation is very similar.
Site Navigation:
The left-hand navigation area still contains the Favorites, Dashboards, and Shared Folders.
There is also a new Home page that is now the default landing page for all users when logging into Campus Data Warehouse or when clicking on the Amazaon Quick Suite logo in the top navigation to return to the navigation interface.
New Home page:
Many of the enhanced AI-powered and agentic features in Amazon Quick Suite are not currently available for our Campus Data Warehouse due to licensing and the need for testing and validation.

Original post 10/8/2025:
Starting at 8AM on Thursday, October 9, Campus Data Warehouse users will notice user interface changes when you log into Campus Data Warehouse (QuickSight). Amazon Web Services (AWS) is integrating QuickSight into a larger suite of tools--"Quick Suite"--that includes additional AI-enhanced and agentic features. Not all tools in the new Quick Suite interface will be available to Campus Data Warehouse users at launch due to licensing and the need for validation and testing.
What to Expect:
-
The new Quick Suite user interface goes live at 8 AM on October 9, 2025, starting in four AWS regions, including US West 2 (where our Campus Data Warehouse is hosted). You will notice a different landing page when logging into Campus Data Warehouse.
-
Existing dashboards and data will remain unchanged. You will still access these via "Favorites," if you've saved any, or through the "Dashboards" or "Shared Folders" in the left navigation.
-
We will be setting up a default custom access profile to restrict access to some new features while our team evaluates their applicability and cost for our Campus Data Warehouse.
