Missed the CSU Student Success Symposium? Watch the recordings

Image
Recordings from the 2026 CSU Student Success Symposium are now available. If you couldn’t attend in person or watch the livestream, you can catch up on the sessions online.  We especially recommend the Systemwide Student Success Data Session , presented by Shonda Goward, Interim Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Success. The session was part of Day 1, held October 22.  View the symposium recordings .

Resolved: GC0131215 — Replace IPEDS URM and Race/Ethnicity Prelim Retained/Not Retained

The Preliminary Retention and Graduation (Non-Census) | Not Retained and Not Graduated page has been updated and is now available in Campus Data Warehouse production. The table under Demographics → Underrepresented Minority (URM) and Race/Ethnicity has been replaced with IPEDS URM and Race/Ethnicity fields, since the legacy fields are no longer relevant for recent cohorts.

Resolved: CSUMB Data Glossary Hover Preview Issue

Image
Update 11/2/2026: Hover previews in the CSUMB Data Glossary are working as expected again. We are aware of an issue affecting hover previews in the CSUMB Data Glossary . When most visitors hover over a linked data element, the preview may not load and instead display the message, “There was an issue displaying this preview.”  The glossary’s data element definition pages and links remain available and can still be opened normally by selecting the link; only the hover-preview feature is affected.   Our wiki hosting provider, MyWikis, has confirmed that the issue is related to an anti-bot protection intended to preserve the stability and reliability of its services. The provider is evaluating whether it can restore hover previews without weakening those protections.    We will share an update when a resolution is available.
