Faculty Student Success 2025 Fall Weeks Missing Engagement

In our December Data User Advisory Group workshop, we discovered that Canvas user engagement score metrics are showing all 0.0 for most weeks of the term.

Metric: "User Engagement" (sourced from User Engagement Dataset (RLS)). Some other Canvas metrics such as "Current Score %" (sourced from User Engagement Dataset (RLS)) and individual weekly "Total Canvas Clicks" (sourced from Page View Dataset) are appearing. 

Investigation into the root cause is ongoing. We will monitor as the Spring term begins to see if the metric continues to populate as it did for the last weeks of the Fall 2025 term.
