Enrollment (Pre-Census Snapshots) Enhancements Available

We are pleased to announce that enhancements to the Enrollment Pre-Census Snapshots) dashboard are now available in Campus Data Warehouse.

Enhancements include:
  • Changed logic for Year Ago metrics to use Snapshot Day Number like Enrollment Planning and Admissions Pre-Census.
    • Changes to the year-ago metrics now reflect the same snapshot day number of prior term rather than calendar dates in alignment with other pre-census dashboards.
  • Added additional Enrollment Metrics (FTEs and Units).
    • Additional enrollment metrics are now available on the Enrollment (Pre-Census Snapshots) dashboard.
  • Group Breakdown Redesign implemented, which will allow easier searching for users.
    • New Group Breakdown controls consolidate categories and group breakdown options into one control that can be easily scrolled through or searched using the built in search box to quickly find what you need.

  • Trends visualizations consistent with changes made to Admissions Pre-Census (difference and percent difference metrics are available in the table below and visuals have been updated to include additional enrollment metric selections). 
    • Changes to the Trends page include additional enrollment metrics, ability to see snapshot dates and day numbers on graph and in table below and difference and percent difference metrics in table.


  • Multilevel Crosstab Table user experience improvements:
    • New Group Breakdown controls, simplified controls.
    • Table layouts change based on Group Breakdown selections (eliminates extra empty row headers); subtotals added for groups.
    • Heat map coloring shows intensity for each metric across groups. 
    • Usability changes have been made to the Multilevel Crosstab Table.

  • Shared folders > Dashboards > Enrollment > Enrollment (Pre-Census Snapshots)

Make visualization adjustments in alignment with Admissions (Pre-Census Snapshots) on Overview and Trends.

Adjust the layouts for controls, Group Breakdowns, Multilevel Crosstab table views by metric/Group Breakdown.
