New Features: Enhancements to Credentials Recommendations Dashboard

 The Credentials Recommendations dashboard has been updated in Campus Data Warehouse with new features and user experience improvements, including redesigned Group Breakdown controls, updated Race / Ethnicity fields, a new Project Rebound student group, and layout changes for greater consistency with other dashboards.

Improved Group Breakdown Experience

We’ve redesigned the Group Breakdown controls to make them more intuitive and efficient:

  • Simplified control layout for easier navigation

  • Enhanced search functionality to quickly locate grouping categories and fields

  • A more streamlined experience when switching between groupings

These changes make it faster to explore credential recommendations across the student populations and academic characteristics most relevant to your analysis.

Updated Race / Ethnicity Fields

The dashboard has been updated to incorporate the new Race / Ethnicity fields available in Campus Data Warehouse.

Where appropriate, IPEDS Race / Ethnicity and IPEDS Underrepresented Minority (URM) fields replace the legacy fields in dashboard controls and visualizations. Both IPEDS and Legacy Race / Ethnicity fields remain available through the Group Breakdown controls to support historical analysis.

Legacy Race / Ethnicity fields will not contain data for new applicants and enrollees beginning in Fall 2026.

New Project Rebound Student Group

A new Project Rebound student group has been added to the dashboard, providing an additional way to identify and analyze credential recommendations for students participating in the program.

Users can apply the Project Rebound field as a filter or Group Breakdown, where available, to better understand credential recommendation activity for this student population.

New “Related” Tabs

To help you discover relevant insights more easily, this dashboard now includes a “Related” tab:

  • Quickly navigate to other dashboards connected to your current analysis

  • Reduce time spent searching for complementary reports

  • Support more seamless, end-to-end data exploration

Standardized Dashboard Layout

Additional layout and formatting updates have been made to provide a more consistent experience across Campus Data Warehouse dashboards, including:

  • Consistent placement and organization of filter controls

  • Standardized page layouts and visual formatting

  • Cleaner, more predictable navigation

  • Updated labels and instructional text

These changes make it easier to move between Credentials Recommendations and other related dashboards while using familiar controls and interactions.

  • Shared folders / Dashboards / Credentials / Credentials Recommendations

All updates are now available in Campus Data Warehouse production and build on the existing dashboard.
