New Feature: Class Schedule Updates Facilitate Assessment of Course Typically Offered Designations
The Class Schedule dashboard in Campus Data Warehouse has been updated with new features and modified data visualizations that facilitate validation of course offerings listed in the CSUMB Catalog: Course Descriptions - California State University Monterey Bay. A new Course Typically Offered Designation field is available as a filter that can be applied to the data visualizations and has also been added to data visualizations on the Course Typically Offered page of the dashboard.
This new dashboard functionality will help colleges and academic departments provide students with accurate information to support expectation-setting and academic planning, including:
Are the “Typically Offered” designations listed for each course in our catalog reflective of the actual offering patterns
Course Typically Offered
Course Typically Offered Designation identifies the term or terms in which a course is ordinarily expected to be offered. It is a catalog designation maintained in OASIS on the Offerings page of the Course Catalog component.
At CSUMB, this designation can be used to validate the “Typically Offered” information displayed for courses in the CSUMB Catalog Course Listings against recent actual course activity such as sections scheduled, enrollment, and median and average section enrollments.
