New Feature: Weekly Snapshots Added to Enrollment Planning Not Registered Dashboard

During each term’s registration period, Enrollment Management and Academic Affairs use enrollment reporting to monitor registration activity and identify students who may need additional support. One important population is students who are eligible to enroll but have not yet registered for the upcoming term. The Enrollment Planning: Not Registered dashboard in Campus Data Warehouse has been updated to include weekly snapshots of these eligible to enroll but not registered students, providing a clearer view of how registration activity changes over time.

What’s New

Previously, the Not Registered by Major page provided only a point-in-time view of eligible-to-enroll students who had not yet registered. Without historical snapshots, users could not easily compare registration activity from one week to the next or evaluate changes across registration periods.

The redesigned Not Registered by Major | Snapshot page now includes weekly snapshot data for the upcoming registration term, currently Spring 2027. This makes it easier to track changes in the number of students who remain unregistered, identify majors or student groups that may need targeted outreach, and support enrollment planning and student success efforts.

Where to Find the Dashboard

The dashboard is available in Campus Data Warehouse:

Shared folders / Dashboards / Enrollment Planning / Enrollment

Open the tab:

Not Registered by Major | Snapshot

The weekly snapshot view provides a historical perspective on registration progress and makes it easier to:

  • Track changes in the number of students who remain unregistered
  • Compare registration activity across weekly snapshots
  • Identify majors or student groups that may need targeted outreach
  • Support student success and advising efforts
  • Evaluate registration trends throughout the enrollment period
  • Inform enrollment planning and decision-making

By adding weekly snapshots, the dashboard becomes more than a real-time report. It now provides a consistent record of registration activity, helping Enrollment Management and academic Colleges understand how the eligible-but-not-registered population changes over time and respond more proactively to student needs.

Currently, EMSA utilizes the daily enrollment report during each term’s registration period. It also important to track students who are eligible but not yet registered to support student success. However, the report lacks a snapshot date, meaning that data is only available for the specific date the report is viewed, without historical data. To enable comparisons with the previous year or day-to-day tracking, it’s necessary to add a snapshot date to the report.
